Carbon Leaf returned to Dallas night touring with Austin band Alpha Rev. They were touring to promote their 3 disc greatest hits/acoustic concert recording "Live, Acoustic... and in Cinemascope." On Friday, an envelope from TicketMaster appeared in my mailbox with my ticket to Carbon Leaf's St. Louis concert at Blueberry Hill on June 6. That's the last thing I need before hitting the road. I just have to get through 4 days of work before I can hit the road, jack!

I learned today that Carbon Leaf's opening act is a band called Alternate Routes and they have a song featured on the Monsters vs. Aliens soundtrack. I've been listening to some of their tracks on YouTube and I'm enjoying them enough to keep listening. I'm looking forward to this trip to St. Louis on June 6.
